Guy LABINE
Science North (Canada)
Appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Science North (SN) in May 2011. He has been part of the SN team since 2001, originally as the Director of Business Development and then as the Chief Operating Officer in 2009.
Labine successfully led the ongoing growth and development of SN's international sales and consulting business. He played a major role in the success of the fundraising for Dynamic Earth, the SN's earth science centre. As Chief Executive Officer, he has led the development of the SN's Strategic Plan, as well as the development of the Northern Leadership Programme. He has also led a major expansion of SN's programmes and services in Northern Ontario.
He is currently Member of the Board and Chair-Elect of the Association of Science - Technology Centers (ASTC) and was Past-President of the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC).
