Moscow Kremlin Museums (Russia)
Appointed the General Director of the Moscow Kremlin State Historical and Cultural Museum and Heritage Site (also known as The Moscow Kremlin Museums) in spring 2001. Her tenure at the Moscow Kremlin Museums has seen the Museum recognised as one of the leading museums of the world.
Gagarina graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1981 in the Department of Art History and obtained her PhD degree in History of Art in 1990. From 1981-2001, she worked at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, first as Curator and then became the Deputy Head of the Department of Graphic Arts.
